Cavity FLOORS
A cavity floor is a floor construction consisting of a flowing screed as a base layer and a support slab, which are separated by a substructure. The resulting cavity is used to carry out installations for telecommunications, heating, electrical connections, ventilation, etc. and is accessible through an inspection opening.
For this type of system floor, cavity floor M12 pedestals are used as standard. With our different pedestals of this series you can achieve a cavity height from 23 mm up to 225 mm. All our pedestals are made of galvanized steel and blue passivated. This ensures a particularly long durability.
